Topic: Cross Domain Issues

Hi,

Just been testing the Silverlight and the Flash uploaders, and both I am seeing that they are making requests for the cross domain files that they need.

But neither check against the server on port 843 or port 943.

Is there a way to enable this functionality?

Thanks,

Tim.

Re: Cross Domain Issues

Don't know what you are talking about. Add a crossdomain.xml file to the root of your site to control what remote sites might contact it.

Re: Cross Domain Issues

The alternative to serving the xml file is to have a service running on port 843 that returns the crossdomain.xml file which is useful in certain scenarios.

Re: Cross Domain Issues

I guess you know more flash than me. So I guess you can figure it out. Could be a bug in Flash URLLoader maybe.

Re: Cross Domain Issues

Actually I expect I don't, but I just happen to be working with a third party system which implements this server but doesn't send the xml files that are needed.

I am going to see if I can push to get the xml implemented.

Thanks anyway.
